Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! Our online registration system will be open on July 24, 2019.
You will need to access the Aeries Parent Portal to verify/update your student information. If you do not already have an Aeries Parent Portal account, the primary parent contacts will be sent an email with instructions on how to access the portal. Instructions are on each page and can be found on our website at www.walnutcreeksd.org. (portal access via Chrome or Firefox on a laptop or desktop computer is recommended) You must have an email address on file to complete online registration. If you don’t have an email address on file, registration will be completed at Welcome Back Day(WBD).
Buena Vista's Welcome Back Day is August 8th- from 3-6pm. If you would like to beat the crowds and verify your address early (2 current bills), you may do so on Wednesday, August 7th- from 8:00-9:30 am. This is an optional time, as you can verify your address at Welcome Back Day.

Instructions will guide you through the 3 step online registration process:
- Step 1 – Walnut Creek Education Foundation
- Step 2 – Verify/update student information in the Aeries Parent Portal Please PRINT Student Emergency Card(s). (note, once ALL 7 sections are completed & saved, you will then click on 'Confirm and Continue' in order to print your Emergency Card)
- Step 3 - Create an account in Membership toolkit or update your account. PRINT Payment Invoice/Receipt.
All purchases and donations are OPTIONAL and can be made either online using a credit card, or by check or cash at WBD.
Please bring your printed documents to WBD for verification. Computers, printers, and volunteers will be available on-site to assist you in the event you had any trouble with the online registration process or need to complete it on site. Once you complete the WBD process, you will learn your student’s teacher(s) for the 2019-20 school year.

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! Every year, Buena Vista Elementary relies on donations to WCEF to help fund a well-rounded, competitive education for your child.
Your donation to WCEF helps provide:
- Salaries for more than 20 specialists and teachers in Art, Music, Science, PE, and Math
- 36 weeks of Art, Music, & Science classes (TK-5) and PE (1-5)
- Time for teacher collaboration
- Professional math coaching for teachers and students
We ask 100% of our families to participate every academic year by making a tax-deductible donation that's right for their budget.
GIVE TODAY OR GIVE MONTHLY. YOUR GIFT MATTERS. YOUR CHILD MATTERS. This year, our suggested ask is a one-time donation of $600 per student, or $50 a month for 12 months (roughly $1.75 a day). Your participation is the only way we can increase funding from TK-12 and elevate your child's education.
