What is PTA? PTA is a national organization which:
- Is the oldest child advocacy organization in the U.S.
- Has been going strong for over 125 years.
- Monitors legislation which affects our children.
- Provides grants for continuing education for teachers.
Why should you join the PTA? Your involvement does make a difference! PTA membership gives you the right to vote for:
- How Buena Vista PTA spends its money.
- How Buena Vista PTA runs its programs.
- How you can help your child get a well-rounded education.
Remember...if you and your spouse want a voice in PTA to vote on important issues, you both must join PTA.
